Free Lamp Unit

Free Lamp Unit is available in four output levels for different activities – from compact lighting for running to maximum performance in technical terrain. Choose 1100 lumen for running, 1500 lumen for trail running and cross-country skiing, 2500 lumen for biking, ski touring and night orienteering, or 3400 lumen when you need maximum visibility for downhill biking, ski touring and night orienteering. All lamp units feature Speed Mode and are fully compatible with all batteries and headbands in the modular Free series.

Choose the right output for your activity
All Free Lamp Units deliver strong, stable light in technical terrain and at high speed. The 1100-lumen lamp unit is optimised for running, 1500 lumen for trail running and cross-country skiing, 2500 lumen for fast biking and ski touring, while 3400 lumen delivers maximum light output for activities that demand maximum visibility and fast reactions. When entering darker and more technical sections, Speed Mode provides an instant brightness boost so you can keep your pace with confidence. Airflow Technology ensures efficient cooling and consistent light output during longer and more intense sessions.

Speed Mode and Intelligent Light
The lamp features 4 brightness levels, including Speed Mode that gives you a quick boost of brightness with a short press from Max mode. The lamp then increases light output when cooling from wind, speed or cold air is sufficient, and the function can run for up to 50 minutes depending on lamp, battery and cooling. A brief flash confirms activation, and since Speed Mode shortens burn time, you should switch back when you no longer need the extra power.

With Silva Intelligent Light, you get both a long-reach spotlight and a close floodlight for better overview and balance at higher speeds. The lamp unit is water-resistant according to the IPX5 standard and designed to perform reliably in varied weather and temperatures.
